Kalva accepts credit cards from the major global networks. Every transaction is verified by 3D Secure with your issuing bank — no purchase clears without your explicit authentication.
All charges in USD. Your bank may apply its own foreign-transaction fee on non-USD-issued cards — check with your issuer.
No. Kalva is not a lender, does not extend credit, and does not report to credit bureaus. There is no APR, no finance charge, and no consumer-credit reporting. Missed payments cancel the booking but do not affect your credit score.
Your booking is in "Reserved" status from the first installment until the final installment clears. Once all installments are collected, it moves to "Confirmed" and the operator is paid. The Reserved status is not presentable to the operator as a confirmed booking — wait for confirmation before travelling.
85% refund if you cancel 30+ days before travel, 50% if under 30 days, no refund within 7 days of travel. One free reschedule is available if requested 30+ days out. Full details on the Cancellation Policy page.
You get a 2-day grace period to update your card. After that, a flat $15 late fee applies. Two consecutive failed payments automatically cancel the booking with a refund per our cancellation tiers. No credit-bureau reporting.
3D Secure bank verification is enforced on 100% of transactions for fraud protection. Debit and prepaid cards do not always carry 3DS and are redirected to pay-in-full only. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, and UnionPay.
