Kalva works inside the operator's own booking page. You stay on their site throughout — Kalva just handles the payment flow.

Step 01

Pick your plan

Choose pay-in-full, or split into 2 / 3 / 4 / 6 bi-weekly installments. The available plans depend on how far ahead of travel you are.

Step 02

Pay the first installment

Your card is charged the first installment immediately. Booking status: Reserved. The rest is scheduled — no surprises, no overdrafts.

Step 03

Travel

Once the final installment clears, your booking becomes Confirmed. Show the reference at check-in. The resort is paid only after you arrive.

Kalva accepts credit cards from the major global networks. Every transaction is verified by 3D Secure with your issuing bank — no purchase clears without your explicit authentication.

Will my credit score be affected?

No. Kalva is not a lender, does not extend credit, and does not report to credit bureaus. There is no APR, no finance charge, and no consumer-credit reporting. Missed payments cancel the booking but do not affect your credit score.

When is my booking actually confirmed?

Your booking is in "Reserved" status from the first installment until the final installment clears. Once all installments are collected, it moves to "Confirmed" and the operator is paid. The Reserved status is not presentable to the operator as a confirmed booking — wait for confirmation before travelling.

What if I need to cancel?

85% refund if you cancel 30+ days before travel, 50% if under 30 days, no refund within 7 days of travel. One free reschedule is available if requested 30+ days out. Full details on the Cancellation Policy page.

What if a payment fails?

You get a 2-day grace period to update your card. After that, a flat $15 late fee applies. Two consecutive failed payments automatically cancel the booking with a refund per our cancellation tiers. No credit-bureau reporting.

Why credit cards only?

3D Secure bank verification is enforced on 100% of transactions for fraud protection. Debit and prepaid cards do not always carry 3DS and are redirected to pay-in-full only. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, and UnionPay.
